My name is Eric Balch. I was was born and raised in Texas and attained a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. I went on to co-own a successful business making and selling dog treats and dog food, but that business was sold years ago.
I have been writing for many years now, but it was only recently that I completed his first book. I hope that the success of it will inspire me to greater efforts and more exciting titles in the future.
In my free time, I like to read, watch movies and play video games. One of my passions is for cooking and I love spending time creating great food in the kitchen. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year and I enjoy nothing more than preparing my house for Trick or Treaters. My yard haunt, Deadman Manor, is popular with both the kids and parents alike and many of my neighbors look forward to the annual home horror
I married my wife Jenn on Friday November 13, 2020 in a literary-themed wedding. We still live in Texas today with our 2 dogs: a Havanese named Merlin and Jack Russell Terrier, Kerry. I am looking forward to continuing to write stories that will appeal to as many as possible. I primarily write fantasy novels.
